We did have a hairy moment on the way, when Mr GPS decided to take us via a dead end road.
With nowhere to go, Richard ended up having to reverse the rig about 2 kilometres.
Although I was stressing, Richard was as cool as a cucumber and did a great job getting us out.
So on we continued, with a little less faith in our GPS friend, but he did eventually get us to Woodend.
We arrived at Chris & Rhonda's new house around 11 and after a quick catch up, the boys were all on their way to the MCG to watch Hawthorn v Geelong.
Jack's only wish in Melbourne was to go to the MCG and to the Races (a chip off the old block) he has had the privilege of getting to do both....

While the boys were away Chookie and I jumped into bed, the warmest spot we could find,(its freezing here) and watched DVD's, drank green tea and ate Easter eggs... It was priceless!
The boys returned home, frozen stiff, around 7 and we all had dinner and a great night catching up with the Browne family, Andrew, Chris's brother and his girlfriend Linda were over from Perth and Mrs B, the boys mum was also visiting.
By about 1:30' the last of the stragglers went to bed.
This morning Tuesday the 10th of April was a slow start for obvious reasons... before we all headed off to lunch further into the Victorian countryside to Glenlyon and a quaint little restaurant called "The General Store."

Even though it didn't pass 12 degrees, we set ourselves up outside in the beer garden where the kids (both big and small) played cricket...

We then tavelled back to Woodend via Daylsford and Trentham, two cute country towns....

Tomorrow we leave the Browne's and Woodend and head towards the other side of the state to catch up with the Cheney's... The kids are very excited about seeing their mates, the Cheney chicks.
