Bali Bliss

I have been told from a few sources that I am in need of an update... I am still struggling to work out where those last few days have gone.
Saturday the 30th of June was a relatively quiet one, the girls (Lola, Nina, Olivia & I) wandered down the street to have our nails re-painted... we were then picked up by the boys who were heading towards the nearest pub to watch the football, we eventually found one in Seminyak and settled in for the afternoon to watch an Eagles win.
After the game we headed back to Villa Hai where Olivia, Tom & Lola began packing to leave... after dinner we said our goodbyes, there were lots of cuddles to go around...

The next morning, Sunday the 1st of July, was an early one. Richard had set the alarm for 6 o'clock and by 6:30 he was on his way to the airport to head home for a few days of work. We all woke a little later - feeling lost, with our right hand man gone - once again!
I decided that the best tonic would be to head out for a nice Sunday brekky, which is what we did.
After breakfast at Biku in Seminyak Ron & Lee dropped the kids and I off near Blue Karma (the villas we stayed at the week before) to do some DVD shopping.
That done, we headed in the direction of home where we chilled out for the rest of the afternoon, had leftovers for dinner and an early night.
I spoke to Richard, he had arrived safely but had stories to tell of how the farm had fared after the storms. A fair bit of damage but all fixable.

Monday the 2nd of June ... and Lee and I were up and off to our power plate session at the gym... It was a tough workout but I felt better for it afterwards.
By afternoon we headed to the Canggu Club where the kids had a swim, Ron went to the gym and Lee & I sipped on a few cocktails while watching the kids splash around... it's tough - but someone's got to  do it ;-) We then headed out to a nearby restaurant for and early dinner before another early night. I think I am finally catching up on sleep after a week of partying!!!

This morning,  Tuesday the 3rd of July, there was some excitement. I had promised the kids a visit to Waterbom Park while Richard was away and today seemed like as good a day as any.
Although, like me, she could have thought of a thousand better things to do, Lee played the beautiful grandma and decided she would come along, not quite knowing what to expect. Ron decided to stay home.
She was pleasantly surprised when we set up in a cabana for the day and she was given the task of watching the bags. I then headed off with the kids to take on the watersides & swim in the pool....

Harry & Nina also managed to have their feet sucked on in the fish tanks after Harry set about  negotiating  over the price managing to get the lady down from 75 000rp per person to 75 000 for him and Nina - a job well done I thought....

we all had a fun day, including Lee, who managed to read a book for the first time in a while.

We arrived home around 4:30 exhausted... well, at least I was. Lee then put on a lamb rack and roast veggies for dinner. It was so nice to have a home cooked Aussie meal.
After dinner there were no arguments from the kids when I took them up to bed - everyone was shattered.
