By mid afternoon, big red was ready, so Richard walked in to town to pick her up. When he got back we went for a drive around town.
Normally by now the boys would have had the boat in the water and be off fishing, but the weather wasn't right.
By late afternoon we were back in the park. Tourists came out from all directions when we were treated to the most beautiful full rainbow on one side of us....
And a stunning sunset on the other side....
Richard, as he does, began chatting to the tourists who were on a bus tour from Perth. They were from all corners of the globe. After Richard passed on some travel tips, the boys ( Jack & Harry) then gave them a true blue whip cracking display.
No doubt making their Aussie trip a memorable one ;-)

Saturday the 8th of December....was a lazy morning and by mid morning we headed off into town for brekky.
Richard and the kids left me in town to fossick through the surf shops and gift shops. It was nice to have some "me" time.
They were back before long and we all went for a drive before Richard was dropped off at the TAB for his weekly Saturday afternoon "me" time.
Back at the van the kids played mini golf while I occupied myself reading a book, which has been a rarity on this trip.
Late afternoon, the TAB having nothing left to offer or vice versa, Richard was back at the van.
Soon later he befriended some Dutch men who were playing volleyball, and before long he was a member of the team.
I watched for a little while and laughed when the buff young men asked Richard (the old fella) if he'd had enough.
At that stage they had no idea who they had happened across. I have no doubt he will outlast them all, even if it's the death of him.
