Sashimi & Champagne, Point Samson, WA (by Jack)

Tuesday the 4th of December...
We all woke up and had brekky and got ready to go out fishing. Mum and Nina
came to drop us off so they could keep the car.....

Dad, Harry and I, ready to go fishing

When we got going, Dad realised he had forgot his phone so I had to run back to the caravan park to get it off Mum.
We then headed out to the spot the owner of the caravan park had given us. It was a little rock island. We threw out a few rods and we got nothing.
So we went around a bigger rock and Dad got a big Queenfish...

We put that in the esky and then we moved to another spot and we all got about 7
gold spot trevally between us.
And then Dad got a big fish and it started to jump. Dad thought it was a sailfish but when we got it in, it was another big Queenfish....

Then I got a big Coral Trout, I was so happy...

Then Harry got a gold spot trivially...

We only kept three fish, enough for us to eat for dinner.
We then we went in to shore and on the way back Tuna and Queenfish were chopping up everywhere. When we got in Mum and Nina picked us up and  we filleted the fish.

We had sashimi for dinner, it was really good....

Then Mum cooked up the rest of the fish and we ate that and sat out in the park.

Dad gave some fish to some campers  up from us and we started talking to them. They are in a band called the Sneaky Weasel Gang from Mandurah.

It was then time for bed for us kids, but Mum and Dad stayed up talking outside for ages.
