It gave us a good opportunity to concentrate on some more school work and start packing up the beach house after our stay in Metung.
Jack also managed to slip in one final waterski before the car and caravan were ready for pick up.
When the rig returned, Richard set about loading the tinny back on the car while I blazed a trail between the house and the caravan packing up both. We really had settled in by the number of trips I made between the house and the caravan.
Last night we had a farewell dinner at the Metung pub. It was nice to chat to the locals and to be able to say good bye as they walked in.
We sat around the dinner table discussing our favorite places so far and Metung sat on top of the ladder with Streaky Bay & Fortescue Bay.
We got a fright when we returned to our car. A cat had set up camp on the bonnet and didn't want to move. My camera flashing and the kids yelling didn't move it and it was quite happy to pose for the camera...

This morning, Friday the 4th of May was the final pack up before we met up with Gazza from next door for a farewell brekky at a coffee shop in town.

Hello New South Wales |
Tonight we are staying in a caravan park overlooking the ocean in Merimbula, it would be among the best caravan parks we have stayed at since we left.
The facilities are amazing and we overlook the ocean...
Richard has another hard afternoon at the office |
