To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much of a workout, but an hour later I felt like I had done a body pump class - and some.
We arrived home to the kids in the pool....

....and by afternoon we decided to head to Matahari's, a Balinese Department Store.
I had promised the boys a new pair of jeans each, they have been wearing the ankle freezers we packed in January which were looking more like three quarter pants than jeans... they have grown so much.
A traffic jam on the way ensured the afternoon left little time for much else, but that's Bali, time is not an issue.
We decided to stay home for dinner and Lee cooked pasta before we had an early night... it was perfect.
Saturday morning, the 16th of June, and we were all missing Richard, but knew he would be home from Perth within hours.
We kept ourselves busy around the villa, did some shopping and we were all relieved to see Richard arrive to meet us at dinner at a little Italian Restaurant, up the road from Ron & Lee's Villa.
A quick dinner and we were back to the Villa, settling down for a few hours sleep before heading to the airport to pick up Uncle Barry & Aunty Jacqui.
I had promised the kids I would wake them up to come with us, but when I went into their room at 11 o'clock they were all fast asleep. I left them to sleep, knowing I would get told off by them come morning.
Ron, Lee & I drove to the airport, leaving Richard to sleep, along with the kids. When we got to the airport the plane was delayed by an hour and a quarter... but eventually by around 1 o'clock we saw their smiling and excited faces walking through the airport door....

When we arrived back at the Villa the red wine and beers flowed freely. It was at that point I realised that bed was the safer option. I believe the last of the stragglers went to bed around 4ish.
Sunday morning the 17th of June was a lazy one... the kids finally forgave me for not waking them up for the airport the night before and we chatted and caught up on 6 months with Uncle Barry and Aunty Jac...

A brunch had been organised at the Villa by Ian and Carol, the previous owners and architects of Villa Hai, so by 11 o'clock the table was set and looking good enough to eat...

Everyone at Brunch |
Carol & Ian's friends and old next door neighbours Roger & Maggie (Ron & Lee's new neighbours) also came along.
Carol did all the food and Ian then cleaned up....

That was the first sitting!!!
By 3 o'clock I went upstairs for a Nanna nap, only to be woken by around 5 to raucous laughter. Brunch had turned into dinner, which had turned into a sing-a-long, which still continues as I write.
Somehow I very much doubt it will end today but it did...eventually - everyone fell over.
Ian and Carol left and before we knew it I was dancing with Jack to Cold Chisel while Nina was cleaning the table... Family fun times, indeed!!!
