Family fun times, Gold Coast

The long-weekend has been fairly quiet, it hasn't stopped raining all weekend.
Saturday morning, the 9th of June, the boys (Richard & Andrew) took the kids to Dreamworld while Olivia & I went to do some retail therapy.
The kids in front of a sign at Sanctuary Cove that says no boats or trailers - it doesn't say, no big cars or caravans
We arrived back just before the boys and the kids got home, filled with a thousand tales of their Dreamworld Day.

The boys then decided their work was done for the day so they disappeared to... (you guessed it) the pub.
Kids all fed and bathed, Olivia and I met the boys for a quick dinner, before we headed back to the house.

Sunday morning, the 10th of June, was a quiet one. We really all wanted to venture out but the rain wouldn't stop... so we stayed in. We wandered into the Sanctuary Cove Village to investigate the Food & Wine Show and surprisingly Olivia and I managed to find our way home, hours later.  We had left the boys to bring back the cases of wine we had brought... but they got lost on the way home, eventually stumbling home a long time later.
It was pizza for dinner, before we all crashed.

Today, Monday the 11th of June and after a very slow start, we began to pack up the caravan and pack our bags ready for Bali. Richard and Andrew then drove our home to Andrew's boat yard for the month, while Olivia took the kids for a shop to K-Mart.

I stayed back and continued to pack and get organised.
Tonight, Richard made his famous Penne Alla Vodka before we all watched The Voice.
Tomorrow morning we say goodbye to Andrew, Olivia, Tom & Lola for a couple of weeks and head off to Bali for the month.
Andrew & Olivia and the kids will join us for my birthday later in the month.
