From one Bay to another

Monday the 13th of February... An early rise to pack up and farewells to our beautiful neighbours and it was time to leave the peace and tranquility of Streaky Bay.

Our next destination, Coffin Bay.
On the 280 kilometre journey south, we stopped to take photos of the South Australian road signs... They speak for themselves and gave us a good laugh....

We also stopped in a town called Elliston, where we took the scenic route (on purpose this time) and travelled along the beautiful cliff tops overlooking the ocean.

The scenery was breathtaking. Sculptures along the way made it even more interesting, although nature was doing more than its fair share to take our breath away.

When we arrived at Coffin Bay it was a bit of a disappointment after Streaky.
Nowhere near as beautiful and picturesque. We went for a drive, looking for something more, but it just wasn't there.
Oh well, maybe we'll get lucky tomorrow when we take the dinghy out. I'll keep you posted.

  1. Whither will my path yet lead me? This path is stupid, it goes in spirals, perhaps in circles, but whichever way it goes, I will follow it.
