After a three hour delay out of Darwin and the late night travel, we were all very excited to be arriving back at Villa Hai and the excitement of catching up with Ron & Lee again, had the adults having one too many celebration drinks well into the wee hours of the morning.
The day was fairly relaxed for the kids, in and out of the pool and catching up with everyone and Richard and I had some work to do before our guests from the dealerships arrived later in the week.
By 5 o'clock we were able to relax at the Canggu Club for a drink and again more catch ups with friends who we'd met on our previous stay in Bali, only months earlier.
Dinner was back at Villa Hai before everyone retired to bed, exhausted from the night before.
Tuesday the 30th of October, Richard and I went up to our favourite little coffee shop, Butter, before I went off to the gym with my old personal trainer Ron. Gee, that workout was a hard one in this humidity and after a couple of months off.
But I survived it, just... and went back to Villa Hai, where Lee, the kids and I headed into Seminyak to begin ticking off DVDs from their wish-list. While Richard and Ron went out to play golf.
Lee, the kids and I arrived home late afternoon with enough grocery shopping and DVDs to fill the boot of the taxi.
Kite, Ron & Lee's dog, who's grown so much in 2 months, also fared well at the shops. He got his very own Bintang singlet. Now he is a true Aussie dog...

Lee, bless her cotton socks, had also promised the kids a halloween party, with some of the other ex-pat kids that live in their lane way, so we spent the rest of the afternoon, hollowing out six pumpkins. It was tiresome work for Lee and I, but the kids had so much fun....

By early evening, Richard and Ron were back from golf and we were out to dinner at a local Brazilian restaurant. After a long day of shopping and golfing in the humidity, every one was happy to retire to their air-conditioned bedrooms when we got back to the Villa.
Wednesday the 31st of October, Richard and I left the kids with Ron & Lee this morning and ventured off in separate directions. He was off to a work meeting while I was off to have a long anticipated massage followed by a haircut and colour. Both Bali luxuries were very much appreciated (not to mention needed) after almost a month in the outback... it was so nice to be back in Bali.
I then headed back to my new home for the next few days, The Seminyak hotel, where our guests would be meeting us on their arrival late tonight.
Richard wasn't there when I arrived but this decoration on our bed made me smile...

Richard's handiwork after a year in a caravan, maybe?? Or maybe not?? |
I really laughed when a hotel porter then knocked on the door to give me a welcome Honeymooners cake... Obviously, the honeymoon suite.
Maybe they know we've been with our kids in a caravan 24/7 for almost a year :-) |

It will be so romantic and cozy with our 30 guests that arrive tonight .. haha!
The next few days will involve catching up with all of our family from the Magic Group. It will be so nice to see them after being away for so long.
