Dancing on the Sunshine, Byron Bay

This morning, Monday the 4th of June, was a Byron Bay first for us... we woke not to torrential rain, but to beautiful sunshine.
It was way too nice to go the gym - so instead I did the trek up to the lighthouse.

When I got back the kids were still fast asleep. I woke them up so we could get an early start on some schoolwork before surf school.
By 10:30 Corinna was waiting for us and the boys were catching some waves and loving every minute of it...

Both boys surf into shore

Corinna and the boys, Cool dudes!!

No boys, I didn't forget you all... This is Corinna the Swiss surf teacher... she is unmarried and has lived in Australia for 10 years. Stay tuned for her phone number in tomorrow's blog ;-) (not really!)

While watching the boys I decided to take a picture of our caravan on our prime piece of real estate...

After surf school the boys were famished... so we went to the nearby Sushi Train where they piled up the plates.
This afternoon we took it easy, a little more school work and before long we were watching the amazing sunset....
The beautiful sunset
That, coupled with a full moon... I love this place...

Tonight we had dinner in - the kids had ordered fajitas. After dinner we all settled in to bed to watch The Voice.

Just a footnote - we spoke to Richard earlier and he caught 10 barras today and got the day's boat record with a 64cm barra. For those of you reading this from  behind your desk in your office, feel free to dislike him haha!!
